Scholarships
Grassroots Initiative Annual Scholarship for Skilled Trades
Provides assistance for tuition, books and fees to students enrolled in a SKILLED TRADES PROGRAM of study. Applicants must possess a minimum 2.0 GPA. Priority is given to students demonstrating financial need with a residency in Franklin County.
SKILLED TRADES PROGRAMS at Virginia Western are designed to provide students with the basic skills necessary to obtain entry-level positions. Employment opportunities include carpentry, electrical, HVAC, horticulture hard-scaping, general construction, plumbing and welding.
